The treatment for cervical spondylosis is either conservative or interventional surgical. Initially, the Conservative method is chosen by giving medications like nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen, diclofenac, or nimesulide. Other medications given are steroid drugs like prednisolone, to reduce pain and inflammation. Muscle relaxants are also given to relieve pain. Physiotherapy, wearing a soft neck brace around the neck, and application of an ice pack are advised to reduce the pain, stiffness, and inflammation.
