    Odysseus ( Roman name: Ulysses) was one of the great pan - Hellenic heroes of Greek mythology. He was famous for his courage, intelligence, and leadership. Odysseus' resourcefulness and oratory skills were instrumental in the Greek victory in the Trojan War.
